Our founder's work
You don't have to do this alone.
Starting early sets the foundation
Ninth and tenth grade come with two contradictory messages: there is nothing to do yet, and you are already behind. Neither is true. These years are crucial to set the foundation for your application so it tells a story.
Personalized guidance, without the price tag
Private advisors have traditionally cost $5,000–$10,000, which prices out most of the families who need the help. But about 80% of college counseling is the same guidance repeated — so we built that 80% to work at scale.
Helping you make decisions without the myths
"You need to take 12 APs", "You need to create a club to get into an Ivy". It is exhausting, and none of it is telling the full story. We would rather explain the reasoning than hand you a rule, because no single answer fits every family.

Month by month guidance
Curriculum designed to help families navigate high school. Engage with videos, interactive exercises, and reminders for next steps.
1Know where you standReadiness measured against the colleges you are actually targeting, so the gaps that surface are the ones that matter for those schools.
2One clear step a monthA short set of actions, activities and lessons — matched to the grade and the season, not a generic checklist.
3Ask a real counselorMonthly office hours with your cohort's college counselor, for the questions a page cannot answer. An initial 1:1 with your counselor comes with the plan.
4Watch it moveKeep the profile current and the score shows the trend, not just today. The roadmap rebalances around whatever still needs work.

A welcome from Ayan Gupta

I started advising in college, when friends and family began calling about their kids. Those calls turned into an online community of several thousand where I shared advice for several years.
Across that community and a few hundred one-on-one sessions, the same questions kept coming back with different names on them. About 80% of college counseling is guidance that is the same for everyone; only around 20% is truly specific to one student. Admission Yogi gives you that 80% for a fraction of private-counselor pricing, so you can spend on the 20% when it actually matters.
What students and families love about our approach
My daughter Lian got placed in one of the top five CS engineering colleges in the US. Thank you for guiding us through the entire college admission process as first-time parents in the US. Your support at each stage made a real difference.

Parent from cohort feedback
The college application process was entirely new to us as parents. Your sessions were greatly helpful in understanding AP courses, the ACT, extracurriculars, essays, college and major selection, and internship planning from an admissions point of view.

None are expected in 9th. By the end of 10th, about two AP-level courses puts a student on a strong track.
Most families don't. You can add one-to-one sessions if you want them, but nothing in the product is locked behind that.
Tell us. The free plan is genuinely useful on its own — the readiness score, the college list and the first modules are not a trial, so a family that never pays still gets a real answer. And if the paid plan is the only thing standing in the way, write to the address at the bottom of this page rather than walking away.
